Graduation!!

That's right ... it has FINALLY happened!! Tony graduated on Friday the 20th of November. It wasn't always fun and games. Tony had long nights and early mornings in order to accomplish this and I am so very proud of him. I was very excited to wake up early and watch him graduate with his class. It was great to see that all his hard work is paying off.

Now Tony is on Barrack Support in which he basically sits around and does stuff when they need him to. So he is taking his leisure time to hit the gym and relax. We are awaiting to get orders to see where this advenure will take us next, but they said it will most likely be in January. As soon as we find out we will be letting everyone know. Thanks for all your love, support, and prayers. We love you all and can't wait til we see you again.

SURPRISE!!

Oh, and for those of you that don't know we have a new addition to our little family that we would love to introduce you to: Our new babies.

It was so funny ... after we got them all set up and ready to go. We were dying to try them out, trying to figure out what we should wash first. We settled on "RAGS" just incase the "new" smell ended up on them. We both had to do everything together and watched it spin for quite some time. Finally leaving to clean up dinner only to run back moments later (with excitment) to watch it spin again. I am so happy and grateful we were able to get such a great deal on a washer and dryer. No more trucking across the apartment compelx lot with our heavy tote of clothes.

Fun in the Sun with the Blue Angels

So this was last weekend I do believe ... so sorry for taking so long. Tony and I went to the Blue Angels air show on base. It was amazing, I never thought that I would enjoy watching planes fly in loops and break your ear drums at the same time. Of course we didn't come prepared since we weren't really planning on seeing the sair show. Our first plan was to go to the Air Muesum on base, on our way there we ran into traffic jam and just ended up following it to the airshow instead. So we were lacking chairs/blankets to sit, sunscreen/hats (that didn't end up well), and food/drink. But it ended up really nice to just do something on a whim even if i got "a little" burn over it.

Recently ... (well not so recently)

I know that I have been horribly slacking on writing my blog. So here is my effort in letting everyone know what's been going on .... I got the chance to fly home at the end of October for my older brothers wedding. It was a wonderful event in which I got to see practically everyone. I had alot of fun but was very glad to get back to my lonely husband. Tony wasn't able to come due to school and duty. But we are looking forward to coming home for Christmas.

Yesterday was my dear little Nick's birthday. Unfortunately he wasn't here to celebrate it. For those of you who don't know, Nick was our precious golden retreiver who wasn't really that little. He passed away this summer and was a very said time for the whole family. So I took some time to reflect the life and time we had together. I remember the day he joined the family. It was christmas morning and all threw the house not a creature was stirring not even a mouse ... ok well not really. Ty (my little brother) had slept in my bed with me that night when we both awoke to this startling noise. We weren't quite sure what it was or where it was coming from. So we went searching for it. Walking threw the living room towards the kitchen thinking it was in the garage ... but nothing was there. Finally we decided to let mom and dad know something weird was going on. Dad rolled out of bed and calmly said to get all the kids together so we could open presents. Once we were all there and done looking at what "santa" had brought us, my parents said there was one more very specail gift for all of us. An adorable ball of fluff came running out of the laundry room (right next to the garage). That was the best gift ever!!

That night we went to the cabin and brought Nick with us. I slept downstairs with my, well our, new puppy to make sure he wasn't lonely. I didn't sleep at all that night. I was up taking him out to the bathroom, then he would whine so I'd go and hold him. So on and so forth. But it was the best time of my life. I wouldn't change it for the world. I love you Nick and I can't wait to see you in the afterlife.

It's been awhile ...

I know I don't post something everyday like some of you I know ... but I just don't think my life is that interesting to keep you updated EVERYDAY!! Also, I have a schedule to keep up with. I'm not too busy but I can stay busy. Anyways, my latest "project" has been a great one but very difficult. Tony has finally recieved "brown-bagger" status, meaning he gets to stay at home when not at class or having duty. I get to see him every night without taking him back anymore. I love it! Because of this he had to clean out his room on base and bring everything back here to our apartment that was already lacking space. So I have been reorganzing everything to fit all our stuff ... hopefully I can do it.

Lions, Tigers, and Bears ..... Oh My!!

As I said before we had plenty of time on our hands this last weekend, luckily it was a very warm and nice weekend even though rain was in the forecast. We dared to take a trip to the ZOO! I haven't been to a zoo since I was in JuniorHigh so it was alot of fun to look at all the animals together, especially since we finally got to see an alligator he he. What made that day even better .... I saw my favorite .... an armadillo!! I had just dropped tony back on base and was driving home when this little armadillo waddled across the road, it was awesome!!

Shrimp Festival

This weekend we were lucky enough to have alot of time on our hands. I just love holiday weekends. Instead of just waisting the weekend away we planned a few adventures. All week the Shrimp Fest had been on the news, not really thinking much of it since I'm not a shrimp/seafood lover .... I just took one for the team and loved it.

Not only was it fun to walk around and look at all the booths but my lucky husband got to eat the food he loves and doesn't get very often. Not only did he get his favorite funnel cake but he also got me to try shark ... that's right I ate shark. Crazy! I never thought I would do that but he pushes me to try new things .... in the end it make me a better person. Not that eating shark makes me a better person, but I get to experience more because I'm not too afraid to try new things ... making me a better person. So Thank You Tony.

If You Know Tony ......

Do your ears hang low? Do they wobble to and fro? Can you tie them in a knot? Can you tie them in a bow? ....... It just so happens that if that song is played in earshot of Tony he perks up and looks out the window to make sure it's real. The ice cream man is here! Just so happens, we were visited by the ice cream man not to long ago. I didn't even know what was coming ... my silly husband jumped up in the middle of my story runs to the window and then freaks out asking me for money. Once I register what he wants I give him a few bucks and out the door he goes. But to his defense her wasn't the only adult out there. He he I just love the kid in my husband.
